Special Interest/Affiliated Groups (SIGs)
This year, we are continuing to offer Special Interest/Affiliated Groups (SIGs) the opportunity to submit a selection of abstracts on a proposed session to be included in the main ASM scientific program. These sessions will be allocated a 90 minute time period between Thursday 15 October and Sunday 18 October 2020.
We have implemented this process again this year to provide all SIGs the same opportunity to provide a session on their specialty.
These sessions will be managed entirely by the SIG chairs and will be the responsibility of the chair to manage the content, which includes liaising with and inviting potential speakers. The key dates for the submissions are listed below and are on a similar time line to the general Call for Abstracts process.
SIG Submissions Open | Wednesday 29th January
SIG Submissions Close | Friday 20th March
